Have you heard about AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) or Yahoo Messenger? It's a way to find out if I'm online right now and to chat with me if I am.

You'll have to have either a Yahoo or AOL IM account to do this, but if you don't you can sign up for free.

There's an option to "add joey_chen as a friend".

It's a great way to keep in contact, and if chatting starts wasting too much time, you can turn it off (which I sometimes do anyway).
